Acer AO532h-2964 10.1-Inch Matrix Silver Netbook - Up to 10 Hours of Battery LifeJust picked up this Acer Aspire One on the weekend. Was looking forward to replacing my IBM x40 with something a bit smaller and more ‘mod-able’. This was a good price and I had planned on selling it on eBay but I think that I’ll keep it for awhile and install Ubuntu 9.04 to see how that works on it. Keep checking back often to see if any changes have been made to it.

Be Prepared To Spend More Cash, This netbook has arrived with a damaged screen I had sent abroad so that the carriage back was actually more expensive than trying to solve the problem on a laptop computer repairs. Powerful Multimedia / Gaming Netbook, Thought a Netbook can not handle the new games? Ben wrong. Asus Eee PC 1201N is just what any player passionate desires, while they are traveling light. Granted AUS Eee PC 1201N does not have the CPU power to run intensive applications … but who wants that when you travel. E-mail, Web browsing, blogging, tweeting, exchange instant messages and video chat is that basically wants to run on a netbook, and games for those who want to frag and just when they can. A lot of people tout on battery life. I have about 3 4 hours on 1201n is not the best but I am never far from a power outlet.

Exactly Why I Expected, The unit works exactly as advertised. Easily connected to our network 802.11n - the speed is very good. We like the drive to the side of our large Plazma TV and stream Netflix via HDMI. Great works - nice and smooth. Battery life is pretty much what we expected - slightly shorter than the life of the battery is more than offset by the fantastic graphics and larger view. This is the netbook to buy.
