Hopefully Helpful Tips, I only had this baby a few days, but I want to share a few things while they are fresh in my mind. Questions I had.

RAM I bought 2 GB of RAM (from Crucial). Basic PN # # CT1166735 Equipment CT25664AC800.M16FE The material question is confusing, because it is almost what others have said not to work, but it does. Press the power button and immediately start the F2 key. BIOS folder opens. Right arrow to "boot", select it and set the Booster "boot" Get out and leave loading WIN 7. Shut it down, install new RAM. Power back-up and win 7 will recognize the 2GB RAM. Close and go into the BIOS directory and run "boot booster" back, leave and leave loading BIOS WIN 7. Life is beautiful.

An OK System For The Price, I bought this system back in July. I like the most, but this was my experience of 6 months of my purchase:

* I love the light, the small size of this product. And 'the ultimate in portability.
* The included laptop sleeve is a nice plus.
* The power supply is a nice small size (see below for more information about problems with this)
* Battery life will be announced on 10.5 hours is a stretch, but I can still get 7-8 hours, which is very respectable.
* The system is quite fast, and has a high quality display.

This is my nephew’s first netbook, an AAO 751h (Sapphire Blue) so he was extremely excited and couldn’t wait to unbox and start using it. He got his the day after I got my D250 from the same store so the freebies are the same as mine (super cheapo mouse which broke on the second day, cooler pad, notebook skin etc). The 751h uses the Atom Z520 cpu which is slower than the Atom N280. The 11.6 inch screen is beautiful though and the extra resolution means less scrolling when he’s doing his school assignments. For example, Excel is viewable on one screen up to column U on the 751h while on my D250 it’s only up to column O. Because of the much higher resolution of 1366 x 768, fonts and text are much smaller so prepare to squint a bit. I’ve tried it with multiple browser tabs open and also tried to multitask on it (YM, browsing, working with simple documents) and the unit slowed to a crawl. Still, for everyday usage (as a netbook, not full-fledged notebook), it’s perfectly fine. The full size keyboard is great! It does indeed flex slightly in the center but shouldn’t be much of a problem for the majority out there. Playing HD videos on youtube is out of the question (video becomes a slideshow) but then again, my D250 is only slightly faster (both unwatchable). Standard definition videos play perfectly. Battery life (5200mah) is also very good. About 6 hours of use or about an hour longer than my D250’s 6 cell (4400mah) with wifi on doing normal non-cpu intensive stuff and …

Great Quality & Value, I had just a week or so, but now I really like this netbook. Although the price point falls into the category 'Netbook', you can really think that low-cost ultra-portable notebook, because it has the performance and graphics options heavier / more expensive notebooks.

Perfect For The Road, Tote there is a laptop and a projector when we go to work and searched for years for small, low-cost options. I heard about the EeePC from a colleague who has used it for the road with a projector, no problems. Battery life is impressive, the screen is big enough and very clear, the keyboard is very easy to use, and the touchpad is the best thing I've ever used. I would definitely recommend it to others.
